In Q3 2023, the Finnish market saw notable shifts in the performance of the top fitness and weight loss applications on the Android platform. Here's a breakdown of the trends for the top five apps:

Stepler - Walk & Earn experienced a significant surge in downloads, particularly from early August onward, peaking at 2.5K in the week of August 7. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, jumping from 791 at the end of July to over 6K by late September. Despite these impressive engagement metrics, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Step Counter - Pedometer from Leap Fitness Group saw a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads reached nearly 2K by the end of September, while weekly active users grew from 20.3K in late June to 27.6K in late September. Revenue also saw a gradual increase, with a notable peak of $61 in the final week of September.

Polar Flow, developed by Finland-based Polar Electro, showed consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, averaging around 1K weekly. Although the weekly active users fluctuated, they remained strong, peaking at over 40.8K in early August before stabilizing around 36K by the end of September.

Garmin Connect™ maintained a steady download rate, averaging close to 1K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained robust, with a slight decrease from 64.9K in early August to 62.3K in mid-September, before rebounding to 63.9K by the end of the quarter. Like Polar Flow, Garmin Connect™ did not generate any revenue during this period.

Pedometer - Step Counter App saw a moderate increase in downloads, peaking at 1.1K in the week of September 25. Weekly active users also showed growth, rising from 14.5K in late June to 16.8K by the end of September. This app, too, did not generate any revenue in Q3 2023.
